Compliance is not declared, it is configured
Email carries personal data and binds the employer. The framework applies whether you attend to it or not. Four settings in the console answer it — each at domain or group level, never all-or-nothing.

A message sent to two hundred recipients in visible copy hands two hundred work addresses to two hundred people. That slip is a disclosure of personal data. It is entirely unlawful, and punishable by the CNIL.
The console sets a threshold, expressed as a number of recipients. Above it, the switch to blind copy is automatic: the sender has nothing to decide at send time, and therefore nothing to forget.
- One threshold per domain, and a separate threshold per user group
- Minimum 5 recipients; the console suggests 30 by default
- Enabled and disabled independently at each level
Legal notices
The text every message carries, in either direction.
- One text for inbound mail, another for outbound
- Each direction is enabled separately: you may want only one
- Written in a rich editor, formatting included
This is where the confidentiality clause, the company identification notice, or the warning aimed at an outside correspondent lives.
Custom classification
Your own categories, on top of those from filtering.
- A tag added to the message subject, with a label you choose
- A filing folder, with a name you choose
- Configurable by domain or by group
The message is still delivered: it is marked and filed, not set aside. That is what lets a department find what concerns it without anyone sorting by hand.
Right to disconnect

A message received at 11 pm obliges nobody to answer it. But that has to be written down, and written on the message itself.
- Time ranges set for the working week, for every day, or day by day
- A banner added to messages received outside those ranges, citing the statute
- The banner content can be edited: ours is only a starting point

Domain, group — never all-or-nothing
All four settings are made at domain level, then redefined group by group. A sales department that mails distribution lists and a technical team that never does do not need the same threshold.
To which is added what is not configurable: data stays hosted in France, with a French vendor subject to French and European law.
